Following my horse getting a little sweet itch on her mane and tail last year (and spending a fortune in products until the end of the season trying to stop the itching!), the sweet itch came back with a vengeance at the start of this season.  Literally a third of her mane disappeared overnight, leaving a nasty red raw patch in its place!
 
I deliberated in buying one of the very expensive rugs on the market for sweet itch; not only due to the cost but the fact my mare is extremely heavy on rugs at the best of times, let alone when wearing a very expensive one, I decided to try one more product on the market...

Dear Phil & Team

We read in the British Homing World about the product Respiro-San-Dry designed for racing pigeons to help out with any moisture in the lofts and the breathing of the pigeons. We have trialed it now for 6 weeks and found that it does what it claims, we have noticed with our team of racing pigeons and our breeders that their eyes seem brighter and they seem fitter around the lofts.

Our pigeons do not seem to suffer from any respiratory or coccidiosis problems as our lofts keep perfectly dry when using Respiro-San-Dry. It doesn't cause dust like any other brand of loft powder nor does it affect ourselves.

We have also placed a pinch of Respiro-San-Dry in each individual nest bowl, in our experience the youngsters are holding their heads up and looking 100% better and more healthier in themselves, their general appearance seems sound.

We are visiting Belgium and are taking Respiro-San-Dry for our fellow friend and successful fancier, Maurice Mattheeuws of St Kruis, Brugge, the general use being for his widowhood cocks and youngsters for the racing period.

We met Phil Gardner at Blackpool show 2008 and can say that you will be dealing with an honest and trustworthy gentleman and we were not surprised at all how Respiro-San-Dry was selling, a phrase commonly known as "selling like hotcakes" can be used!

“We have been using the Science with Nature Multi-Worm now for three and a half years. What appealed to me was that it was non chemical. I am a Naturopathic practitioner and knew that although chemicals may work they would very likely upset the gut flora. So in the earlier stages we used it but in order to reassure ourselves we kept a keen eye on their droppings and on their general health. Three and a half years on we are still using it. I think that says it all. If I have had any queries Science with Nature has held my hand. On two occasions I had reason to call them. One was when we found some worms in one of the horse droppings, this was early on. We subsequently found out that we were not shaking the bottle and hence not activating the remedy. We doubled the level of Multi-Worm on the yard, shook the bottle and have had no problems since. The other time we had a problem and by this I mean there were worms in one of the horses droppings, was when there had been a new horse introduced into the yard. Again we doubled the level for everyone and all was fine. Now if any new horses come into the yard they get double the level as well. This is not to say every new horse has worms but as they are changing over to a new system I do this as a matter of course just in case and keep a watchful eye on them for a while.
